May 9: Humboldt Bay 200K

the Humboldt Bay 200K, will be run again in 2019. The start/finish is at the Arcata Community Center.

The route first heads around the Arcata Baythe bay, crossing the bridge into Eureka - a good stop to fuel up before continuing around the south end of Humboldt Bay and up to the tip of South Jetty; then countinue south to Rio Del befor the big climb up Bear River Ridge for spectacularly rewarding views and vistas as we travel toward the coast and out to Fleener Creek Overlook; then back to the historic town of Ferndale and a final hump over Singely Hill before returning to Arcata.





Jun 20: The Unknown Coast 300K

May will bring back the classic the Unknown Coast 300K, a fabulously scenic route, if a bit challenging! Starting and finishing in Arcata, the route will travel through the historic town of Ferndale before the first big climb out to the Lost Coast and around to the little town of Petrolia and Honeydew, then climbing over Bull Creek Flat and descending into magnificent stands of old-growth red woods and continueing up the Avenue of the Giants along the Eel River to Miranda before the turn-around and return to Arcata.






Sept 24-25 - Nor-Cal Coastal View - 600km ACP brevet (40 HRS)

Humboldt Randonneurs will conclude its 2019 ACP brevet season with participation in the Nor-Cal Brevet Week by offering the Nor-Cal Coast View 600, a point-to-point route from Arcata through the Humboldt Redwoods, down the quintecential California Highway 1 coast route, with bag drops in Fort Bragg and finishing across the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco!
